The B705 converter is a transmitter which can be placed in the field close
to the Zirconia probe. The converter receives the signal from the Zirconia cell and from the compensation and regulation thermocouple which is fitted
inside the probe (type K). The converter can be connected with any FER mod.
5175 or 5185 low temperature probe. Based on a microprocessor associated to an
analogical-digital converter (12 bit) is equipped with a led display 3 ½;
digit, which shows continuously the percentage of oxygen in volume on which is
possible, by depressing a push button, to show the temperature of the heated
probe from the compensation and regulation thermocouple and the impedance of
the zirconia measuring element. The converter is equipped with an analogical
output 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volts, linear and proportional to 0-25% and 0-10%,
0-5% and 0-2000 ppm oxygen content.
Four oxygen fields are selectable from the instrument. The converter can
be optionally equipped with the pneumatic part (pressure reducer or electric
pump) to deliver to the probe reference air and calibration air and gas. The
electronic converter, display and pneumatic device are housed in a strong
water proof metal box (IP55).
