Probe mod. 4153 is used.
This probe is produced with length of mm. 310, 500, 650 from mounting thread.
Mounting S.S. flange is available.
If the process is nor clean or for general protection of the probe, a ceramic
protection tube can be used, maximum working temperature 1400 °C. This tube
is fastened to a S.S. flange in which the probe is screwed. Inconel 601
protection tube also available, maximum working temperature 1200 °C.
For very hostile or very high temperature (glass melting tanks) can be used an
extremely strong protection tube made of electro fused material, maximum
working temperature 1600 °C.
If the oxygen measuring must be done as deep as 1000 mm. from thread (flange)
special extension tubes in Inconel or ceramic are available.
Probe mod. 4153 must be connected with electronic converter model 7042 or H700
and to Flowmeter box model 60 or 62.
Model 7042 is suitable for field or back panel mounting; a display for panel mounting to be connected with the electronic unit by 1 meter long special
cable is available.
Mod. H700 for field mounting can include the pneumatic part with pressure
reducer or membrane pump.
Both model 7042 and H700 can be provided with a special program which enable the oxygen reading from 17 x 10 (-26)
to 25% O2.
The output with this extremely large field is digital to ensure good
resolution in the whole field. The display exhibit the oxygen value for 4
seconds alternated with the exponent.
